Welcome to NigeriaProperty247.com ("we", "us", "the Platform"). By accessing the Platform or creating a subscriber account you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

Our role

NigeriaProperty247.com is an online marketplace that connects buyers, tenants, property owners, landlords, agents, developers and vendors. Unless we expressly state otherwise, we are not a party to any sale, lease, purchase or service agreement concluded between users, and we do not own, inspect or guarantee the properties or products listed.

Accounts and subscriptions

• You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate, current information when you register.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Posting access depends on your subscription plan. Each plan includes a set number of listing slots, which we may adjust from time to time for new subscriptions.
• Subscription fees are processed securely by our payment partner, Paystack, and your account is activated once payment is confirmed.

KYC verification

To protect buyers and tenants from fraud, subscribers are required to complete Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification by uploading supporting documents through their dashboard. Depending on what you do on the Platform, relevant documents may include:

• CAC certificate or business name registration (for companies, agencies and developers);
• proof of ownership of the property, such as a Certificate of Occupancy, Deed of Assignment, Survey Plan or Governor's Consent;
• a letter of authority, power of attorney or agency agreement where you list on behalf of an owner;
• a professional licence, valid government ID, proof of address, or any other document that shows you genuinely deal in the properties or goods you list.

Listings and content standards

• You must own, or be duly authorised to market, every property or product you list.
• Descriptions, prices, locations, photos and contact details must be accurate and not misleading.
• You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and promote your listings and media on the Platform and in our marketing channels.
• We may review, edit, decline or remove any listing that breaches these Terms or applicable law.

Prohibited conduct

• Posting fake, duplicate, sold or unavailable listings, or listings you are not authorised to advertise;
• fraud, impersonation, advance-fee scams, or collecting payments under false pretences;
• scraping, reverse-engineering or interfering with the security or operation of the Platform;
• uploading unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or infringing content;
• using the Platform's contact data for unsolicited bulk messaging.

Disputes and complaints

Intellectual property

The Platform's design, name, logo, software and original content belong to NigeriaProperty247.com or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce or exploit them without our written permission. You retain ownership of the content you upload.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that listings are accurate, that titles are valid, or that any user will complete a transaction. You should independently verify property documents, inspect properties and seek legal advice before paying any money. To the fullest extent permitted by Nigerian law, we are not liable for losses arising from dealings between users, or from interruptions to the Platform. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts, and remove listings, that breach these Terms, fail KYC verification, or put other users at risk. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Subject to the dispute steps above, the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any claim arising from them.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows the current version, and continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept them.
